Jessica Fox-Thigpen | CSA – Owner, Casting Director
Jessica Fox-Thigpen honed her casting eye in the mid-1980’s with Mick Dowd Casting in Los Angeles, where she secured talent for commercial campaigns, and the Orion Pictures film Hoosiers starring Gene Hackman. Accounts she excelled with include Toyota, 7-Up, Bud Light, AT&T, Cheerios, Maybelline, and Ford among others. In 2015, Jessica began Fox Casting in Atlanta, GA, and the company has quickly become the go-to place for studios, producers, and directors to secure the best principal talent. Recent projects include episodes of hit TV series To Catch a Killer, Your Worst Nightmare, and Dead Silent for Investigation Discovery; and the feature Twisted Tenant for MarVista Entertainment. As an active member of the Casting Society of America, Jessica is known for being an advocate for actors and a champion of her clients. She understands that great casting takes more than just spotting talent; it’s the strength of relationships, the effectiveness of communications, and the efficient organization of the casting process.
Susan G. Reid | Casting Director, Special Projects
Susan G. Reid puts her casting and coaching experience to good use in the thriving southeastern entertainment market. Before joining Fox Casting, she was Vice President and Head of the TV/Film Division at Atlanta, Models & Talent where she booked talent on acclaimed shows such as The Walking Dead, House of Cards, Homeland, Sleepy Hollow, The Vampire Diaries, Bloodline, and Nashville, as well as blockbusters like Captain America, Ant-Man, Jurassic Park, The Hunger Games and more. Additionally, Susan has worked as a professional theatre director for over fifteen years and has taught acting at Kennesaw State University, the University of West Georgia, and High Point University. She was the Artistic Associate and Education Director at both Theatre in the Square and Aurora Theatre in Georgia. She holds a Masters of Fine Arts in Directing from the University of North Carolina Greensboro.
Mitchell Moran | Casting Assistant
Born in Knoxville TN, Mitchell always dreamt of a career in film. This pursuit led him to the prestigious Colorado Film School. During his time there, he actively wrote, produced, cast, and directed several films. After graduating in the top of his class, Mitchell chose to build his career in Atlanta acting, writing, and directing short films. It was ultimately his love of casting that led him to us. In addition to Mitchell’s experience in filmmaking, his extensive studies in Method, Meisner, and Stanislavsky, as well as script analysis, have given him a keen eye for judging performances. Mitchell assists with submissions and selections, as well as collaborates with agents and managers.
Bailey Coffer | Casting Assistant
A small-town Georgia girl, Bailey Coffer brings a fresh approach to accomplishing tasks and is always ready to seize the day. From very early jobs in sales and home organization, to more recent experiences galvanizing her neighborhood to fight crime, Bailey knows how to communicate, motivate, and get things done. She holds a Master’s in Education from Mercer University, yet loves the challenges of working in this industry. Bailey oversees Fox Casting’s social media, coordinates bookings, creates sides for the actors, manages our database of talent, and much more.
